It’s Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Day!


Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Day is celebrated to raise awareness about the uses and effectiveness of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Did you know that Acupuncture is only one of eight branches (ways) of healing in Chinese Medicine. Here are all eight in the order of increasing intervention:

  1. Meditation
  2. Diet
  3. Exercise
  4. Living in Harmony with the Seasons
  5. Feng Shui or arranging your environment to support your health and vitality
  6. Massage
  7. Herbal Medicine
  8. Acupuncture

You can see that there are many ways of healing that involve only the advice of your TCM practitioner! Which is why we write our books, blog posts and teach our classes, to help you discover how to live in a way that supports your health and vitality!
