Alan Vu is a licensed naturopathic doctor with over 10 years experience. After starting with more of a general family practice, he has gradually come to have an interest and focus more on men’s health and fertility health.

Alan’s approach is to first try to understand the patient’s needs and goals, and all the factors that could be affecting their health. After that, Alan takes an evidence-based approach to help the patient get the best of both worlds; using effective and less invasive natural therapies as much as possible, but never forgetting that conventional medicine has its strengths too. The focus starts with sustainable diet and lifestyle as a base. The goal is not to push a pill or supplement, but rather to get results that will have a lasting impact.

Alan graduated from CCNM in 2006, also completed a two year Clinical Residency at CCNM, and has been a part-time faculty member ever since. He supervises in CCNM’s teaching clinic, TA’s various courses, and regularly guest lectures on men’s health topics. Alan is also a member of the Canadian and Ontario Associations of Naturopathic Doctors.
